Become a Personal Support Worker with Spectrum Health Care in King City and surrounding areas. Deliver essential care and assistance, helping patients maintain their independence and quality of life.
As a PSW, your role involves providing personal care and supporting daily living activities for patients in their homes and facilities. This position includes assessing patient needs, communicating resources, and traveling within the York service region. Ideal candidates will hold relevant certifications and engage in continuous communication to enhance care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:• Assist patients with personal care and daily activities • Identify and respond to shifts in patient needs • Follow directives from Home Support Supervisors • Travel to patients across designated locations • Provide information about Total Care resources
Requirements:• PSW Certificate or completion of RN/RPN first year • Valid G2/G Driver’s License and vehicle access • Ability to meet physical demands of the role • Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certified • Updated TB Test and immunization records
