Senior Electrical Estimator Needed at Aecon, Fredericton

Take your estimating skills to Aecon Civil as a Senior Electrical Estimator, focusing on infrastructure projects across Canada and the U.S. Use your expertise to prepare precise electrical cost estimates during the design phase.

In this role, you will report to the Senior Project Manager and contribute your extensive estimating experience, particularly in infrastructure and energy projects. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing technical documentation, performing quantity take-offs, and collaborating with engineering teams to identify project cost drivers.

Key Responsibilities:• Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates • Review drawings and technical documentation • Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis • Collaborate with engineering and design teams • Support project budgeting and forecasting

Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering • Minimum 8–10 years of estimating experience • Experience in infrastructure or energy projects • Knowledge of hydroelectric projects is an asset • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis
