We are currently looking for a Senior Auto Damage Appraiser (Road Appraiser) to service the New Brunswick region.
What you’ll do:
Utilize automated estimating systems to prepare complete, competitive auto repair estimates and communicate repair estimate information to customers, repair facilities and claim representatives as required.
Negotiate with repair facilities on repair plan processes.
Re‑inspect repaired vehicles for quality of service and cost control measures.
Evaluate the actual value of vehicles declared a total loss and take proactive steps to control storage and rental vehicle costs.
Adhere to dispatch needs and fulfill claim investigation and resolution in the field.
Report fraudulent claims to senior supervisor.
Hours of operation can include evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.
What you’ll bring:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Minimum of 5 years of vehicle damage appraisal and collision repair industry experience.
Working knowledge of Mitchell Estimating System.
Strong knowledge in motor vehicle repairs, including passenger vehicles.
Prior appraiser experience is a must.
Strong computer skills, good communication skills, a strong team player, strong problem‑solving skills.
