Part-Time Inclusion Resource Teacher Position, Fort St. John

School District No. 60 is seeking a part-time Inclusion Resource Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role offers an opportunity to foster inclusive educational environments alongside students, educators, and families.

The temporary position runs from September 1, 2026, until the incumbent returns, not exceeding June 30, 2027. Successful candidates will have a passion for inclusion and strong skills in universal design and differentiated instruction. Collaborate with diverse learners, including students with autism and learning disabilities, to drive success through tailored support.

Key Responsibilities:• Implement inclusive practices to support diverse learners • Collaborate with educators and families for an inclusive environment • Develop, implement, and assess Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) • Provide support in literacy and numeracy instruction • Participate in ongoing professional development and training

Requirements:• Valid BC Teaching Certificate or eligibility • Master’s degree in Special Education or Inclusive Education • Experience with diverse learner needs • Strong understanding of assessment practices • Ability to work collaboratively in a school team
