Aquatech is seeking a Senior Operator based in Fort St. John, BC. This full-time role emphasizes leadership, operational efficiency, and hands-on involvement in water and wastewater management.
As a Senior Operator, you will lead operational staff while overseeing water treatment and wastewater collection systems. Candidates are expected to possess a minimum of three years of relevant experience and the necessary water treatment certifications. A strong focus on compliance and the ability to support a team are essential.
Key Responsibilities:• Direct operations staff for safe facility management • Operate Level I Water Treatment plants and distribution systems • Oversee operations at Level II Wastewater Treatment Plant • Provide training and performance oversight • Ensure compliance with provincial regulations and report requirements
Requirements:• Level I Water Treatment Certification and/or higher • 3-5 years of experience in water/wastewater operations • Clean Class 5 Driver’s License • Proficient in communication and problem-solving • Reside in or relocate to Fort St. John area
