As a Lived Experience Advisor for the Mental Health and Addiction services at Health New Zealand, you will utilize your lived experiences to provide systemic advice. This permanent, full-time position entails working from Monday to Friday and collaborating across services to address the specific needs of tāngata whai ora Māori. Your role will bridge the gap between patients and clinicians through various restorative processes, reinforcing the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Requirements:• Significant personal experience with mental health services • Knowledge of strengths-based and trauma-informed care • Project and group work experience • Awareness of Te Tiriti o Waitangi's health implications • Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
