Industrial Equipment Teaching Position, Northern British Columbia (Fort Nelson)

Join Northern Lights College as an Industrial Equipment Instructor. Teach critical operational skills in Skid Steer, Forklift, Wheel Loader, and Scissorlift to boost community career readiness.

Northern Lights College is hiring 2 to 6 instructors to share their passion for equipment operations at our Dawson Creek and Fort John campuses. This role includes teaching as well as grading responsibilities. Successful candidates will participate in the Comprehensive Train the Trainer program to refine their teaching methods and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:• Instruct students on operating various industrial equipment • Submit evaluations and grades to the Program Coordinator • Engage students in hands-on learning experiences • Travel to other campuses for specialized training sessions • Uphold safety standards and regulations in training

Requirements:• Current certification in industrial equipment operation • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience • At least 1 year of teaching or training experience • Strong commitment to student success and teamwork • Valid Driver’s License with knowledge of provincial regulations
