Star Building Materials is looking for a Senior Wall Panel Designer who specializes in creating structural frameworks for wall systems. Make a significant impact in Alberta’s construction industry.
In this advanced role, you will be instrumental in designing wall panels, floor trusses, and I-joists, ensuring each project aligns with architectural standards. Your meticulous attention to detail and strong communication skills will help facilitate collaboration on complex designs.
Key Responsibilities:• Develop detailed designs for engineered wall structures • Prepare and organize documentation for projects • Create fabrication-ready designs and manage project timelines • Execute CAD modeling and provide project cost management • Interact with clients to finalize specifications
Requirements:• Minimum 5 years in EWP design • An understanding of building construction methods • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office • Strong analytical and organizational abilities • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transport
