AiGC is seeking a skilled and forward‑thinking Senior Advisor, Digital Communications to lead the organization’s digital presence and ensure its online platforms deliver a consistent, engaging, and professional brand experience. As part of the Operations Division, you will manage digital content strategy, oversee key platforms, andleverage data‑driven insights to enhance engagement and performance. This role plays a critical part in shaping how Albertans interact with and understand AiGC through digital channels, supporting transparency, accessibility, and public confidence in the province’s iGaming framework. This rolewill also include any other communication and marketing duties as assigned.About the Role
In this role, you will handle: Digital Content Strategy
Develop and manage integrated content calendars across web, social media, and email platforms. Ensure all digital content aligns with AiGC’s brand standards, messaging frameworks, and accessibility requirements. Support digital campaigns and initiatives that advance corporate priorities and public engagement.Platform Management
Oversee the maintenance, optimization, and governance of AiGC’s digital channels, including websites and social media accounts. Coordinate with IT and external vendors to ensure platforms are secure, functional, and user‑friendly. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure content accuracy, compliance, and alignment with corporate standards.Analytics&Performance
Monitor engagement metrics, digital sentiment, and campaign performance. Provide insights and recommendations to improve reach, effectiveness, and user experience. Support evidence‑based decision‑making through regular performance reporting. Issues&Crisis Support
Support real‑time digital communications during high‑profile issues or crisis scenarios. Ensure timely, accurate, and coordinated updates across all digital platforms. Innovation&Best Practices
Stay current with emerging digital communications trends, tools, and technologies. Recommend and implement new approaches to enhance stakeholder engagement and digital experience. Ensure high‑quality visual presentation through strong design standards and photography practices. What you Bring
Degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field. 5–8 years of experience in communications, public engagement, or media relations, preferably in government, Crown, or regulatory environments. Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills. Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate across teams.Experience with digital tools, analytics platforms, and social media best practices. Demonstrated understanding of stakeholder engagement and consultation processes. Strong design and visual communication skills, including photography.
