Overview
Reporting to the Lead, Student Admissions Advisor and Director, Student Admissions, the Student Admissions Advisor (SAA) at Robertson College is the first point of contact for prospective students. The SAA’s role is to build initial impressions of the institution through professional, prompt and respectful interactions.Key Responsibilities
Recruit qualified candidates for the college's academic programs in a compliant and professional manner. Contact prospective students promptly after they express interest in the college and provide guidance on enrollment and admissions processes. Ensure compliance with company policies, governmental regulations, and program requirements for all students.Verify that all students meet program requirements, including required English proficiency, before they start their program. Administer correct college‑approved entrance assessments to students admitted under mature student status. Support students before, during, and after the admission process.Conduct regular check‑ins (every 10 days) with students between recruitment and start date, and the first 45 days after their start date. Guide students to relevant resources within the college when needed. Reach out to students within specific timeframes post‑start date to ensure a smooth transition.Enter student information accurately into all necessary systems. Maintain up‑to‑date student records for reporting purposes. Facilitate hand‑overs to other departments (NLG&LEG) and provide necessary support during various processes. Assist with audits of student files and ensure all required documentation is in place. Keep up‑to‑date with the latest features of the LMS that may influence SAAs’ recruitment approach. Participate in campaign strategies proposed by management.Assist with virtual and in‑person marketing and branding efforts as needed. Collaborate with branding partners in marketing meetings when required. Perform other duties or participate in special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
A degree or diploma in business administration or a related field is an asset. Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in sales, relationship building or a related field. Experience in customer service, admissions recruiting, education, or outbound contract center roles. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse individuals.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting. Strong telephone skills with prior experience handling high‑volume calls. Friendly, energetic, and positive attitude towards engaging with prospective students and team members. Familiarity with internet‑based communication tools and platforms to support virtual interactions.Compensation
Base salary plus commission, with the potential to earn up to $90,000 per year at target. Benefits
