So, what will your new role look like?
You’ll design key features for
ShareGate Migrate , independently owning projects of moderate complexity and collaborating closely with PMs and Engineers. You’ll explore bold ideas, refine complex workflows, and deliver experiences that solve real challenges for Microsoft 365 admins and IT teams. Your work will directly help keep ShareGate Migrate
the most intuitive migration tool on the market , aiding IT professionals of companies of all sizes in managing complex migration workflows worldwide.
Responsibilities
Design features or epics aligned with team goals and user needs;
Facilitate ideation and explore multiple solutions using rapid prototyping and testing;
Apply design frameworks to identify root causes, map end-to-end user journeys, and inform problem definition.
Experiment quickly and iterate based on customer feedback and measurable impact;
Collaborate with PMs and Engineers to clarify scope and ensure high-quality delivery.
Contribute to product strategy through bold concepts and forward-looking workflows;
Use data, research, and UX metrics to inform decisions and evaluate success;
Deliver detailed specifications, support QA, and follow through post-launch;
Help improve team rituals, processes, and shared working practices.
A typical week?
User interviews, concept exploration, prototyping, asynchronous reviews, design critiques, collaboration with engineering&product management, QA support, managing the Jira board, and iterative refinement.

You’ll join the ShareGate Migrate Product team, a tight-knit group of Product Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers, focused on simplifying Microsoft 365 migration. The team values focusing on core user problems, collaborating closely within the product trio, and rapidly testing and validating solutions with users through experimentation. You’ll contribute to delivering new value to customers, redefining core workflows, and delivering intuitive experiences used by thousands of IT professionals worldwide.
What are the next challenges awaiting your team?
Modernizing critical migration workflows for next‑gen IT teams;
Evolving the visual and interaction model of a product known for simplicity;
Strengthening system alignment in partnership with the Design System team;
Building a more proactive, guided, insight‑driven migration experience.
Qualifications
Understanding of modern UX research methods and when to apply them;
Strong prototyping skills and ability to drive divergent exploration;
Familiarity with design systems and how to scale them effectively;
Strong foundational visual and interaction design capabilities with a keen eye for craft;
Ability to interpret UX metrics and behavioural insights to inform decisions;
Experience working on SaaS products or complex technical platforms;
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with the product and engineering team;
Clear, concise communication skills and attention to detail;
Has experience using AI to increase the efficiency of their workflow.
Salary Range $100–$125k CAD per year.
This range reflects our Canada‑wide compensation scale. Final offers may be adjusted based on the candidate’s region to align with local market conditions.
