Responsibilities:

Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to clients' individual needs.

Work closely with

neurodiverse children , supporting their sensory, motor, and daily living skill development.

Support clients and families through activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and self-care tasks.

Implement fine motor activities to improve coordination, handwriting, and hand strength.

Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and assistive equipment.

Document patient progress and communicate observations to the occupational therapist.

Foster a positive and supportive therapy environment.

Qualifications:

Associate degree from an accredited

Occupational Therapy Assistant

program.

Experience working with

neurodiverse children

(e.g., Autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorders)– preferred.

Knowledge of ADL and fine motor therapy techniques.

CPR certification– preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented.
