Full‑Time HR Generalist We're looking for an HR Generalist to join our amazing team! If you're passionate about all aspects of HR, thrive on change and variety, and enjoy building strong, meaningful relationships, this role could be a great fit. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone interestedin gaining experience working with First Nations communities and who is comfortable with regular travel to client sites. Note: This role will require travel up to 25% of the time for on‑site Nation visits.
As part of our team, you’ll work alongside experienced HR professionals while gaining exposure to a multitude of different companies across numerous industries.

Key Responsibilities The focus of the HR Generalist role will be to:
Create, review and update client policies, handbooks, and other documents to ensure they are compliant with the relevant legislation as well as best practice
Investigate and resolve employee relations issues
Provide advice on performance and disciplinary issues
Provide payroll guidance
Mentor internal HR Coordinators
Assist with the administration and facilitation of terminations and suspensions per client needs
Coordinate employee and/or disability leaves
Administer training sessions and/or seminars
Keep current with existing and proposed laws and regulations affecting HR practices
Assist with specialized projects such as job descriptions, compensation reviews, HR audits, and HRIS implementations
Provide recruitment support
Initiate strategic planning, reinforce processes, and ensure compliance
Other HR&Administrative tasks, as required

Willingness and ability to travel regularly to client sites
Willingness to give and receive feedback
Willingness to learn new technology and systems
The Minimum Qualifications
Post‑secondary education in Human Resources
3+ years of HR generalist experience
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with First Nations partners or community members is an asset
CPHR designation, or interest in pursuing the designation, is considered an asset
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 is considered an asset
Access to reliable transportation to travel from site to site, as necessary
Payroll experience and/or PCP or CPM designation is considered an asset
Work Hours This is a full‑time position that requires 37.5 hours of work, Monday through Friday.
