Home Keepers is a trusted provider of services for people to thrive and function in their own homes regardless of age or health challenges. Our work is guided by our values of compassion, quality and reliability, and driven by our vision of connecting the world to the best care.

Role and Responsibilities:

Our Housekeepers play a vital role in establishing and maintaining a level of comfort and well-being for our clients living at home. The Housekeeper provides essential support services for the client with warmth and professionalism in the home environment, including, but not limited to:

Top-to-bottom cleaning– vacuuming, dusting, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, baseboards, floors Detailed cleaning – windows, curtains and blinds, baseboards, ceiling fans and fixtures, cupboards, appliances Housekeeping – changing linens and bed sheets, laundry and ironing All successful applicants will be required to provide a Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector CheckRequirements

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Listening to, understanding, and responding appropriately to client requests and needs Meeting schedules on time and in a diligent manner Accomplishing tasks within designated times with efficiency and quality Ensuring the client is in a safe and comfortable environment Working closely with team members to ensure high quality service is deliveredQualifications and Education Requirements:

Legal working status in Canada Excellent communication and organizational skills Required Skills&Credentials:

Housekeeping and residential cleaning experience Valid driver’s license, Class 5 Basic computer literacy Preferred Skills:

Experience working with seniors, persons-with-disabilities Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time Able to lift, push, pull or carry objects up to 20lbs Strong customer service skills and empathy towards others Self-starter with high attention to detail and thoroughness Ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple priorities Ability to work within defined deadlinesAbility to function within a collaborative team environment Ability to complete physically demanding work for extended periods of time Paid Time Off The Compassion Network provided the following inclusive hiring information:
