Introduction The Jim Pattison Auto Group is seeking a detail‑oriented, organized, and tech‑savvy Accounting Assistant professional to join our
Audi Edmonton North
dealership. In this role, you will support the Office Manager with accounting and administrative functions of the dealership while helping ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
You will take pride in maintaining accurate records, supporting financial processes, and providing reliable administrative assistance. Your work will play an important role in keeping operations running efficiently and ensuring a high standard of accuracy across the dealership.
Schedule This is a full‑time, permanent role of 40 hours per week. The regularly scheduled hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Pay Range Wages will be determined by selected candidate's knowledge&experience level.
This role reports to the Office Manager of the dealership.

Responsible for following our accounting standards, maintaining up to date reports and assisting the Office Manager
Verify and process all payments
Reviewing accounts receivable vendor statements, ensuring payments are made within dealership time frames
Calling and emailing vendors with overdue invoices
Verify and process all invoices, ensuring they have obtained the necessary authorization for payment
Process vehicle sales and calculate gross profit and commissions
Reconcile discrepancies by reviewing and analyzing account data
Prepare month end reports
Support front desk/reception coverage as needed
Maintain organized filing systems for financial records
What We’re Looking For
Open to entry‑level candidates with relevant accounting education or experience
Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) experience is an asset
Dealership experience is considered an asset
Strong attention to detail and high level of organizational skills
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment
Ability to interact professionally with both co‑workers and clients
Excellent customer service skills, including positive and courteous telephone etiquette
