Job Description
Responsible for reviewing the chain of custody form to determine if there are any correctable errors that may require corrective action and responsible for data entry transposing of the information.
LIMS logging in/data entry directly from COC forms and internal data forms.
Responsible for reviewing and entering laboratory test results and ensure that they are consistent with the information contained on the custody and control form.
Potential for customer inquiries via phone/e‑mail and providing customer support.
Assisting with AR/AP details and reconciliation.
Following and complying with all company standard operating procedures (SOP’s) as they relate to task/duty.
Additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
Able to cope with the high paced work environment.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Must be a self‑starter and self‑directed, a higher level of initiative required.
Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
Must be adaptable to new and changing situations and priorities.
Must be familiar with operating systems such as Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word.
Must pay close attention to detail.
Previous administrative experience is an asset.
Additional Information
This position is based in a laboratory environment; significant time spent standing at a bench or sitting in front of a computer is required.
Lab supports a 24/5 operating plant. The ability to work rotating shifts is a requirement.
Extra hours, weekends may be required. Shift and OT premiums are provided.
Travel between buildings on campus may be necessary. Valid driver’s licence and access to vehicle is preferred.
Job Type: 12‑month Full‑Time Temporary Contract.
Schedule: Monday to Friday (7:30‑4:00).
Onsite position (at the office).
