Part-Time French&English Teacher/Tutor, Dollard-des-Ormeaux

Part-Time French&English Teacher/Tutor Location: Oxford Learning Montreal DDO, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec Employment Type: Part Time Schedule: Evenings (Mon‑Thu 3:30 pm‑8:00 pm), Saturdays 9:00 am‑1:00 pm, with a preference to continue through the summer and toward the end of the term in June.

Position Requirements Education

CEGEP or Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field.

Teaching certification is an asset.

Good knowledge of the current Grade 1 to Grade 11 curriculum.

Experience

Some experience teaching or tutoring at the Grade 1 – Grade 11 (or equivalent) level.

Strong written and oral communication skills in English.

Ability to multitask and support up to three students simultaneously.

All teacher‑tutors work during after‑school and evening hours and are required to be reliable and available to commute to the in‑person learning centre. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

Responsibilities (Position Details)

Teach up to three students at a time at different levels.

Deliver instruction using pre‑planned lessons and the Oxford Learning methodologies.

Record post‑lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates.

Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.

Salary $16.25 – $17.50 per hour.
