Join the City of Delta’s Engineering Operations as a Labourer. This full-time seasonal role with a focus on road maintenance and right-of-way operations supports essential community services in Ladner, North Delta, and Tsawwassen.

This position involves performing various tasks related to Roads Maintenance and Traffic Operations. You’ll be responsible for executing road repairs, maintaining sidewalks, and ensuring clean and safe roadways while interacting kindly with the public. The role requires a commitment to safety and awareness of weather impacts.

Key Responsibilities:• Conduct road and asphalt repairs, including patching • Assist with concrete repairs and curb construction • Support maintenance of line painting and street markings • Manage litter control along roadways and public spaces • Maintain walkways and perform basic safety checks

Requirements:• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence with good record • Experience driving larger vehicles is essential • Must submit a Driver’s Record with application • Preference for candidates with public works training • Relevant professional documents must be included
