Boart Longyear is currently looking for experienced longhole drillers/trainees to join our team. This is a physically demanding role that requires hard work and a strong commitment to safety and productivity. The position offers a competitive wage, opportunities for growth, and a supportive global environment.Hourly Wage : $23.94/hr - $35.35/hr plus bonus. Job Responsibilities : Follow all safety policies, procedures, and best practices. Perform duties safely, caring for equipment and coworkers. Maintain optimal condition of site equipment and tools. Assist in training new drillers in a safe environment.Remain physically fit to perform demanding tasks. Work under the direction of a driller, field supervisor, or division manager. Adhere to EHS policies and conduct local risk control. Apply first aid as needed. Support drilling operations: mix drilling fluids, perform basic maintenance of tools and equipment, housekeeping, inventory counts, and basic measurements and calculations.Maintain accurate operating records, including daily drill reports and inventory logs. Contribute to effective workplace relationships. Position Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent. Valid First Aid/CPR certificate. Adequate literacy and numeracy skills. Labor background considered an asset.Minimum 2 years of directly related experience. Exposure to different drilling environments and techniques preferred. Pass Fitness for Duty program standards.
