Role Overview
As a Construction Manager, you’ll oversee all phases of assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in line with company standards. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, consultants, and clients while driving project success from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Lead projects from pre-construction through completion and turnover
Manage budgets, schedules, and overall project performance
Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and progress claims
Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and municipal stakeholders
Direct project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers with accountability
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company processes
Build strong client relationships through consistent communication and follow-through
Identify risks early and implement solutions to keep projects on track
Qualifications
7-10+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction management
Proven ability to independently manage multi-million-dollar projects
Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and permitting processes in B.C.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or project management systems is an asset
Alignment with a team-oriented, accountable, and solutions-driven mindset
Compensation&Benefits
Salary:
$115,000-$140,000 annually, based on experience
