ReelData is seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Hardware Lead to report directly to the Director of Technology. You will be pivotal in mechanical design, validation testing, and driving hardware from prototypes to field deployment. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will enhance the ReelWeight product and ensure its reliability in real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:• Own mechanical and electro-mechanical design of ReelWeight • Develop and execute verification and validation test plans • Lead design-for-manufacturing efforts with external partners • Perform remote troubleshooting and on-site field visits • Deliver client-specific mechanical designand integration work

Requirements:• 5+ years of mechanical or hardware engineering experience • Strong hands-on experience with mechanical systems • Proficient in CAD tools like SolidWorks • Knowledge of electrical components and integration • Willingness to travel for field work
