Shaw Group Industrial Mechanic Position, Hardwood Lands

Join The Shaw Group Limited as an Industrial Millwright Maintenance Mechanic, focusing on the maintenance of heavy machinery with an emphasis on safety. You will collaborate with various teams in a dynamic environment.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Hardwood Lands Site Maintenance Team. This role mandates strong skills in machining and precise measurement, alongside problem-solving capabilities. Your ability to prioritize tasks effectively and communicate with production and maintenance teams will be crucial to ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment consistently • Support basic maintenance procedures for production staff • Conduct preventative maintenance on site machinery • Keep maintenance logs accurate and current • Collaborate with Engineers, Electricians, and Supervisors on plantmaintenance

Requirements:• Licensed Millwright-Industrial Mechanic from Nova Scotia • At least three years of experience as a mechanic • Welding experience advantageous • Proficient in CMMS and general computer skills • Willingness to work shifts and overtime as necessary
