Job Overview
The Security Account Executive– Security is responsible for promoting and selling Johnson Controls services and technology related to the security domain. The role includes building relationships, closing new business, ensuring customer retention, and serving as the Johnson Controls brand steward, telling the company's story and demonstrating its leadership in electronic security.Responsibilities
Adhere to current Johnson Controls policies, procedures, products, programs and services. Uncover upgrades and upsell opportunities within the existing account base while creating new market share by selling products and services to new local commercial customers. Identify prospects using creative lead‑generating techniques and maintain productive relationships with existing customers.Independently establish call plans, customer follow‑up strategies, and consistently apply time and territory management techniques. Focus on developing a new customer base and follow up with prospects. Maintain an in‑depth knowledge of the complete line of products and services and customers' issues and needs through in‑house training and research.Process work orders and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures. Conduct post‑installation follow‑ups by contacting customers, ensuring commitments were met and confirming customer satisfaction. Obtain referrals. Qualifications
High school degree or diploma in related technical electronics equivalent. Minimum 2 years of proven experience in the commercial security industry in a sales or technician role. Must meet requirements for Reliability Clearance. Experience designing, deploying and supporting customer solutions in a technology‑related field.Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, MS Teams, Salesforce, Compass (ERP) and adept at Excel spreadsheet formulas. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills; ability to present to senior‑level executives. Action and goal oriented to achieve results. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.Ability to work a full‑time schedule. Salary&Benefits
