Intermediate Software Developer Role, Hants County (Shubenacadie)

Pursue an Intermediate to Senior Software Developer position focusing on C++ or Java with an emphasis on Agile methodologies. Engage in detailed software design, implementation, and rigorous testing.

This role requires candidates to have a degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 4 to 7 years of experience in software development. Working mainly with C++ and/or Java, you will contribute to software design, integration, and defect resolution, all while collaborating within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:• Design software using Unified Modelling Language (UML) • Implement and conduct unit testing on software components • Integrate software and resolve defects efficiently • Document design, testing, and software releases • Collaborate actively in an Agile team setting

Requirements:• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field • 4 to 7 years of C++ and/or Java experience • Adaptable with strong interpersonal skills • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and tools • Comfortable using Linux operating systems
