$55,000 CAD to $65,000 CAD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job‑related reasons.
Description CIMCO is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to support parts and material sales across our Atlantic region (Dartmouth, Moncton, St. John's). This role is a key support function to service technicians, account managers, and customers, ensuring parts are quoted, sourced, and ordered accurately and efficiently.
This position is hybrid‑eligible. The successful candidate will work full‑time in office for the first 6–12 months to build technical knowledge, supplier familiarity, and strong working relationships, with the opportunity for a hybrid work‑from‑home arrangement thereafter.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service when taking parts and material orders and resolving issues in a professional, solutions‑focused manner
Quote parts and materials sales for customers and internal service and sales teams
Open and process parts orders and purchase orders in SAP
Interact with existing suppliers to request quotes, place orders, confirm lead times, and resolve discrepancies
Source new suppliers when required to support regional service and project needs
Support technicians and service sales by looking up parts, manuals, and substitutes in a technical environment
Create part numbers and maintain accurate part records in SAP and related systems
Assist with warranty‑related parts, including documentation and sorting warranty requests
Navigate internal inventory systems and supplier networks; support local warehouses with cycle counts and inventory management as required
Work across multiple communication platforms including SAP, CRM, Microsoft Office, Teams, supplier portals, Excel, shared drives, email, phone, and text
Learn continuously from technicians, service managers, and account managers to build refrigeration and HVAC product knowledge
Assist with additional administrative or sales support tasks as required by the operation
Required Knowledge, Skills&Qualifications
Customer service and/or inside sales experience in construction, HVAC, refrigeration, or a related technical industry
Previous experience working with parts (HVAC or refrigeration preferred but not required)
Strong professional communication skills, both verbal and written
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; SAP experience is an asset
Technical or mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with service and sales teams
Valid driver’s licence (asset for occasional branch or supplier visits)
