Retail Team in Dartmouth

for a summer co‑op opportunity.

The Role This seasonal position is ideal for students looking to gain hands‑on experience in customer service, retail operations, and team collaboration.

As a

Summer Student Retail Sales Associate , you will:

Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner

Answer questions and provide product knowledge

Support daily store operations and ensure a positive shopping experience

Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail space

Assist with merchandising, restocking shelves, and display upkeep

Process purchases and handle basic transactions

Support online orders, in‑store pickups, and special events

You’ll play an important role in delivering a fun, engaging, and customer‑focused experience during our busiest season.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in high school, college, or university

Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset (not required)

Available to work a flexible schedule (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)

Comfortable standing for extended periods and staying active throughout shifts

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs with assistance)

Basic computer skills are considered an asset

Working Conditions

Environment:

Retail store environment; may include some outdoor tasks

Hours:

Full‑time seasonal role with flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends

Physical Requirements:

Standing for long periods, lifting, and active work
