Intermediate Environmental Scientist for Permitting, Hants County (Shubenacadie)

Lead environmental assessment projects as an Intermediate Scientist. Collaborate with a skilled team to provide regulatory support and address compliance needs for industries in Atlantic Canada.

In this permanent, full-time position, you'll work alongside ecologists, engineers, and environmental professionals, driving initiatives in complex regulatory environments. Your responsibilities include preparing assessments and ensuring projects meet both provincial and federal requirements. Actively participate in business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:• Manage technical and regulatory aspects of assessments • Develop and review compliance documents and reports • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and scope changes • Deliver strategic environmental insights to clients • Support business development initiatives within your team

Requirements:• Master’s degree with 8 years of experience preferred • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience accepted • Strong knowledge of relevant environmental regulations • Excellent communication and writing capabilities • Ability to coach and engage junior team members
