Prioritize engaging with customers. When not directly interacting with customers, collaborate with colleagues in your office. What You Will Do
P&L responsibility: provide monthly revenue forecasting, drive service agreement base growth, and support repairs/installation/service turnkey efforts with the sales team. Budget control responsibilities: manage expenses against targets for overhead items such as fleet, uniforms, tools, and safety equipment.Risk mitigation: manage risk in service agreements, turnkey services, and repair work. Oversee the service coordination function to respond efficiently to customers, ensuring technicians’ training and skill level are appropriate and resources are leveraged across the district. This includes emergency repair, scheduled work, upgrades, installations, replacement components, and long‑term service agreements.Effectively attract, coach, counsel, train, and develop all service employees. Drive continuous improvement through performance management processes and technical product training programs. Confirm margin expectations are met during sales and fulfillment activities. Maximize cash flow by ensuring invoices are generated immediately upon completion of work, managing expense budgets, and increasing utilization of the service team.Ensure environmental, health and safety compliance within the service team. Provide training to all employees to maintain a safe and productive work environment in both shop and customer sites. Travel to customer sites is required. This may involve outdoor work, work in mechanical/equipment rooms, variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, and other environmental conditions based on location.What You Will Bring
5+ years of experience in HVAC or a related field, technical systems, equipment, or skilled trades. 3+ years of experience managing and coaching large teams and organizing work schedules. Project management skills to oversee and drive successful project execution for startups and customer requests.Tech‑savvy with expertise in Microsoft applications. Salesforce experience is considered an asset. Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations (e.g., DUI, Hit&Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving, or multiple smaller infractions in the previous 3 years). We prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles. Annual Base Salary Range Or Hourly Base Pay Range
$86,300.00 - $155,435.00 Compensation Type
