Job duties

Manage, direct, and control the operations of a Pizza Pizza restaurant. Implement operational procedures for the restaurant. Recruit employees and oversee their training. Create work schedules for employees. Oversee and evaluate employee performance. Control inventory, monitor revenues, manage cash flow, and modify procedures and pricing.Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Negotiate and arrange shipments of food and supplies with suppliers. Communicate and interact with Pizza Pizza franchise headquarters, ensuring franchise standards and requirements are met. Terms of employment: Permanent and full-time.Location of work: Burlington, Ontario. Language of work: English. Wage: $36.00 per hour. Skills requirements

Required education:

Secondary School. Required work experience and skills:

At least 5 years of management experience; experience managing a P&L, staffing, scheduling, and hour‑by‑hour operations during peak times; ability to implement standard operating procedures and ensure quality control, health and safety compliance; understanding of budgeting, cash flow management, and cost control (food costs, labor, utilities, maintenance). Leadership and people skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to recruit, train, and retain staff; manage a diverse team; engage with customers positively; lead a team through busy periods, handle conflict, and maintain a positive work culture. Sales and customer service focus:

Comfort maintaining standardized menu offerings and brand guidelines while providing consistent service; experience driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and managing customer relationships. Marketing and community engagement:

Willingness to participate in community events and drive local brand awareness; familiarity with local marketing, promotions, and store partnerships. Regulatory and compliance know-how:

Experience coordinating with landlords, municipal authorities, and suppliers; knowledge of food safety regulations, licensing, health inspections, and municipal permits. Risk tolerance and an ownership mindset:

Willingness to commit time and risk capital to own and operate the business; willingness to be involved in day‑to‑day operations and long‑term growth planning.
