Job Description Full time TERM Nutrition with Mathematics position at Queen Elizabeth Regional High, CBS. Duties to commence November 5, 2025 to December 19, 2025, or until incumbent returns. As the successful candidate, you are committed to furthering the goals for student success in an inclusive, safe and caring environment. You subscribe to a "students first" philosophy in your practice and believe that collaboration is key for your growth as an educator. As a teacher, your work will focus on your application of the 7 Determinants of the School Development Model which are: Wellness and Positive Relationships; Optimal Learning Environments; Instructional Practice; Assessment Practices; Collective Efficacy; Evidence-based Decision Making, and Teachers as Learners. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Engage professionally with colleagues, families and communities.
Demonstrate the planning and implementation of effective and responsive teaching and learning practices.

Demonstrate a love of learning and an ability to build learner and leadership capacity.
Provide evidence and understanding of the impact of effective assessment practices.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Education

Equivalencies may be considered
Salary and Benefits Annual Teacher Salary Scale contained within the NLTA Provincial Collective Agreement and benefits contained within the agreement.
Additional Information Applicants without the required qualifications may be considered in accordance with Clause 37.01 (d) of the provincial collective agreement. Electronic eOFFERs only with 24 hour expiration - applicants must monitor their email accounts. If Interview Required: Please note that candidates designated as Highly Recommended and Recommended in 2023 or 2024 individual or pool competitions will have that designation carried over for 2025 and will not require an interview for similar positions.
