As a Second Cook at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, you'll engage in preparing delicious dishes for our varied dining outlets. Candidates should exhibit calmness and composure in a fast-paced setting while having two years of relevant culinary experience. A post-secondary education towards a Journeyman Cook’s certificate or Red Seal is ideal for applicants.
Key Responsibilities:• Execute meal preparation at assigned cooking stations • Keep work areas organized, clean, and compliant with health standards • Collaborate with supervisors regarding guest needs and special menus • Manipulate food items between storage and preparation zones • Maintain cleanliness offridges and freezers thoroughly
Requirements:• 2 years of experience in high-volume culinary environments • Preferred post-secondary culinary coursework • Proficient communication skills in English
