We are hiring for the position of Production Assistant / Delivery Driver, responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our production facility and delivering WLD products to our customers throughout Alberta. This is an exciting opportunity to join the passionate team at Wild Life Distillery and help produce world-class spirits in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.

Who you will work with

Maintain a close working relationship with the production team while also communicating and collaborating with administration, sales, marketing, and tasting room teams as needed.

What you will do

Responsible for safely delivering WLD products to customers while ensuring orders are accurate, complete, and handled with care.

Work with our team in the production facility and be involved with the production of all WLD products.

Assist with milling, mashing and fermentation activities.

Assist with distillery maintenance and cleaning of production equipment and facilities.

Assist with inventory management and packaging of all WLD products.

What you will bring to the Wild Life team

A positive attitude and approach to work, along with a strong work ethic— this is a must.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to plan daily tasks, stay organized, and work efficiently.

The ability to work collaboratively with team members while also excelling independently when required.

The fine print… The candidate must

A valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract is required. Successful applicants must be insurable under Wild Life Distillery’s commercial auto insurance policy.

Ability to commit to 40 hours per week. Weekend work will be expected as part of this role.

Physically capable of working up to 10-hour days and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable driving, navigating routes, and getting in and out of a van or truck multiple times per day in all types of weather conditions.

Forklift operation experience is considered a strong asset.

Previous distillery or beverage industry experience within a production environment is considered an asset.
