Livestock Farm Foreman, Harrison Lake Region (Agassiz)

Valedoorn Farms Inc. (7062 Whelpton Road, Agassiz, BC) is hiring a Livestock Foreman for its cattle division.

Responsibilities

Perform daily reports on the health and condition of farm operations.

Give instruction to staff and perform general farm duties.

Follow Government Dairy regulations in the sterilization of milking systems.

Support and control biosecurity measures.

Handle large herds and breeding programs.

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in a farm setting, including raising young cows and recognizing health problems.

Good knowledge of husbandry and biosecurity.

Agricultural or college background and good knowledge of English.

Ability to work nights and weekend shifts.

Legal authorization to work in Canada.

Starting Wage is 22.00 per hour.
