Job Summary The Terrain Park Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of the resort’s terrain parks. This role includes staff supervision, feature management, snow shaping, guest interaction, and coordination of park events. You will ensure all terrain park features meet safety and quality standards, while fostering a creative, inclusive environment for riders of all levels. Youare a leader on the mountain—supporting your team with our vision —Create an inclusive experience united by adventure and empowered by community.

Wage: Based on experience
Schedule: Full‑time, including weekends and holidays
Skill Level: Supervisory / Experienced
Reports To: Outside Operations Manager
Job Responsibilities
Supervise daily terrain park operations, including setup, maintenance, and teardown of features
Oversee, schedule, and train Terrain Park Attendants
Inspect and document all terrain park features daily for safety, consistency, and rideability
Coordinate with grooming and snowmaking teams on feature construction and reshaping
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all maintenance and inspections in park logs
Enforce safety protocols and ensure staff maintain constant presence and visibility in park areas
Approve and oversee any feature testing, ensuring compliance with internal standards
Collaborate with Ski Patrol for incident response and reporting
Assist with the planning, setup, execution, and teardown of terrain park events
Interact with guests in a positive, knowledgeable, and professional manner
Maintain signage, fencing, and feature markings in accordance with resort safety policies
Monitor and manage park usage, flow, and guest behavior during high‑traffic periods
Ensure staff follow all resort radio, communication, and safety procedures
Maintain tools, equipment, and storage areas in good working order
Promote a culture of safety, creativity, and inclusion within the Terrain Park team
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a terrain park or related mountain operations role
Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
Strong knowledge of terrain park construction, feature safety, and rider flow
Comfortable operating and directing use of snow shaping tools (rakes, shovels, hand tools)
Basic familiarity with grooming equipment and snowcat collaboration (PistenBully preferred)
Confident skier or snowboarder with ability to test features when required
Strong communication and leadership skills
Physically capable of sustained outdoor work and lifting up to 50 lbs
Excellent judgment, situational awareness, and attention to detail
Comfortable working in all weather conditions, including weekends and holidays
Proficient in documentation, logs, basic computers, and radio protocol
Creative, team-focused, and able to lead under pressure
