Early Childhood Family Resource Practitioner, Minto Landing

Elevate family support as an Early Childhood Family Resource Practitioner, focusing on parent education and childhood development in a nurturing environment. Collaborate with diverse families in a supportive, non-judgmental setting.

This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating early childhood programming as part of the Family Resource Program (FRP). You will engage with families in five core areas, promote self-efficacy, and foster healthy attachments. The goal is to empower parents and create stable, supportive networks for child and adult development.

Key Responsibilities:• Deliver family support services in line with FRP standards • Plan curricula that encourage healthy parent-child interactions • Create a nurturing environment for cooperative and social play • Communicate children’s developmental progress with families • Collaborate with community providers to facilitate referrals

Requirements:• Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Special Needs • One year of related experience in family support • Understanding of family-centered approaches • Ability to work with diverse backgrounds • Strong relationship-building skills with vulnerable populations
