Snow Groomer, Manning Park

Snow Groomer– Alpine Operations We are searching for a Snow Groomer to join our Alpine Operations team at Manning Park Resort. This seasonal position requires commitment for the full Winter Season (November to April) and hands‑on operation of snow grooming equipment.

Responsibilities

Safe and efficient operation of snow grooming equipment including snow cats and attachments, grading equipment, and other heavy machinery.

Ensure grooming provides an excellent experience for guests.

Maintain and operate equipment according to company standards.

Keep workspace clean and organized.

Assist in maintaining and cleaning all snow grooming equipment and related machinery.

Identify and report all maintenance requirements in a timely fashion.

Assist in repairs and scheduled maintenance of equipment as required.

Identify any maintenance or operational issues on runs and report to management.

Other tasks as required.

Qualifications

A valid Class 5 driver’s license.

Previous equipment operating experience.

Previous experience with snow grooming machinery (asset).

Ability to follow directions while unsupervised.

Ability to work late, overnight, weekends and holidays.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Strong problem‑solving skills.

Basic First Aid Certification (8 hr) or willingness to obtain before the season begins. (MPR offers a free First Aid course.)

Ski/Snowboard experience (asset).

Ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, shoveling, and moving over 40 lbs.

Chainsaw experience (asset).

Flexibility regarding shifts&schedule due to weather dependency.
