This is not a supply chain related role. This role does not involve purchasing contracts. We are not looking for Professional Engineers or highly technical systems (IT) people. ------------------------------ RESPONSIBILITIES/ ROLE DESCRIPTION As a member of the Large Volume Contracting, Support&Compliance team, the Contracting Analyst’s responsibility is to prepare contracts for the Distribution and Direct Purchase markets. This position provides an opportunity to develop a foundation in Enbridge’s contracting business with exposure to several areas such as Industrial Market Development, Legal, Gas Management, Billing, Accounts Payable, Regulatory and others. You will be part of a dynamic and innovative team that works together to achieve success. Customer Inquiries:Meet or exceed corporate customer satisfaction objectives by providing excellent response to requests and inquiries pertaining to Enbridge Distribution and Direct Purchase agreements, policies, billing, and gas management functions. This will involve investigating, coordinating and resolving inquiries using Enerline, ConTrax, SAP and other systems as required, or escalating unresolvable issues to the appropriate departments or to management for further investigation and resolution. Contract Management:• Analyze contract data and create appropriate contract packages for Distribution and Direct Purchase markets.Track approval and distribution of contract packages through to customer receipt and execution. Maintain an approved storage and retrieval process for pertinent records, communications and documents. Maintain effective documentation of all issues; communicate effectively with all involved parties. Identify, analyze and resolve issues related to departmental systems. Other:• Identify, plan and execute process improvement opportunities.Testing of system changes and authorization of changes under accepted change management principles. Reporting: Run and analyze WEBi reports as required to support contract management inquiries. QUALIFICATIONS Basic/Minimum Qualifications : Business, Finance, Math or Economics degree or diploma. Minimum 2 years work experience.Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite) and familiarity with database concepts, query tools and general business applications. Ability to perform multiple work assignments at varying stages of completion with a high degree of accuracy while working to tight time constraints and changing priorities.A broad understanding of or ability to quickly learn the distribution and direct purchase business in order to apply strong analytical, investigative and reporting skills to resolve issues within the confines of the regulated business environment. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others and negotiate.Strong professionalism, communication, collaboration, time management, and organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision and drive results on your own. Desired Qualifications in addition to minimum Understanding of contract administration, customer billing and/or financial systems.Working knowledge of ConTrax, Enerline, SAP CIS, WEBi, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Word. Understanding of Large Volume Contract language and rates. Demonstrated front line customer service/contact experience. Experience in the natural gas and/or utilities market. Overtime is sometimes required during monthly and annual contracting cycles.Vacation time is arranged around the monthly contracting cycle.
