CGIC is seeking a Bilingual Commercial Specialist to enhance its Retail Sales team. This office-based role focuses on client acquisition and sales growth within the commercial segment.
Leverage your 2-3 years of experience in commercial insurance sales while developing tailored insurance solutions for clients. You will engage in active prospecting, perform policy reviews, and provide ongoing risk management support. The position also requires a General insurance license and a related post-secondary education, along with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and French.
Key Responsibilities:• Make inbound/outbound calls to generate new clients • Conduct risk assessments based on underwriting guidelines • Provide expert advice on risk management and coverage • Respond to client inquiries and manage complaints • Cultivate community contacts to maximize business opportunities
Requirements:• 2-3 years experience in insurance sales • Relevant educational background • Hold a General insurance license • Working towards CIP or FCIP designation • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
