Job Overview

Work Term: Seasonal Work Language: English Hours: 8 to 32 hours per week Education: College/CEGEP Experience: 1 to less than 7 months or equivalent experience Work setting: Hospitality industry– Hotel, motel, resort Responsibilities

Register arriving guests and assign rooms Process group arrivals and departures Take, cancel and change room reservations Provide information on hotel facilities and services Provide general information about points of interest in the area Exchange foreign currency Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive paymentsBalance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms Follow emergency and safety procedures Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying) Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages Assist clients/guests with special needs Contact customers to deliver requested wakeup callsProvide customer service Computer and Technology Knowledge
