Risk Management Officer in Procurement, Campbell River

As a full-time team member under the Financial Services Manager, you will oversee the City’s procurement function, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and trade agreements. Your contributions will help build community partnerships and enhance the procurement governance framework.

Key Responsibilities:• Oversee development and administration of the procurement function • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies • Identify and assess procurement-related risks • Maintain the risk management governance framework • Implement best practices for public procurement

Requirements:• Two-year Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field • SCMP designation and membership in Supply Chain Association • Minimum five years of public sector procurement experience • Three years in a supervisory role • Risk Management Certification is a plus
