Transportation Engineer for Town Planning, Dufferin County (Shelburne)

Join the Town as a Transportation Engineer/Planner, specializing in transportation planning projects and master plans. This full-time role includes project management and public consultation responsibilities.

Reporting to the Manager of Transportation Engineering, you will lead critical transportation planning initiatives. This includes managing Municipal Class Environmental Assessments and feasibility studies. Your role will also encompass reviewing third-party plans to ensure they align with Town policies while fostering collaboration with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:• Lead and manage transportation master plans and studies • Organize public consultation and engagement activities • Review transportation studies for compliance with policies • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders • Provide guidance on long-range planning initiatives

Requirements:• Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering or related field • 5 to 7 years of transportation planning experience • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Registered Professional Planner (RPP) • Strong project management and organizational skills • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
