Reporting to the Controller, Aggregates and Asphalt, GIP is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team in Caledon, ON. This role will be instrumental in providing financial analysis, insights, and support to drive strategic decision-making and ensure the financial health and growth on the Aggregates and Asphalt team.Responsibilities
Preparation and review of the monthly financial statements Manage Monthly balance sheet reconciliation Identify trends, risks, and opportunities that may affect the organization's financial performance Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking Collect and compile data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and integrityIdentify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards Participate with financial planning and budgeting process Collaborate on projects to provide financial insight and support project objectives Qualifications
Post‑secondary degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration Pursuing CPA designation A minimum of 3‑5 years of Financial Analyst experience, preferably in Construction or Asphalt industry Excellent communication skills to convey financial information effectively Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple prioritiesProficient in financial software and MSExcel (pivot tables, lookups, macros) Strong attention to detail and capability to identify potential financial risk and opportunities Compensation and Benefits
Expected Base Salary: $70,000– $75,000 per year. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
