Job Summary This is a critical role working as a member of the FP&A team. This role will complete complex financial planning and analysis requirements, offering accurate reporting and thorough analysis of key business information and drivers. The Senior Financial Analyst is a tactical reporter of the business, with a financial focus that extends to all operating areas of the business, reporting to the Manager, FP&A. The ideal candidate is a professional who thrives on using advanced tools for finance systems, visual dashboarding&data mining.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
This position is for senior-level finance professionals that are looking for a fast-paced work environment with ample opportunity for growth and learning
Perform financial forecasting and budgeting to support business planning and decision-making processes
Lead in the creation of financial, operational&executive dashboards using Power BI
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite software
Partners with cross-functional teams in identifying cost efficiencies for the business and evaluating cost management
Compile, analyze and distribute summary information relating to KPIs&other metrics
Coordinate the implementation of processes that facilitate a more efficient month-end review process
Ensuring the accurate completion of monthly financial analysis for review by the Manager
Assist in the implementation and development of new systems and processes
Job Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or 2 years of experience as a Senior Financial Analyst
University Degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a focus on finance, accounting, or economics. Equivalent education or experience may be considered
Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) or equivalent, or working towards the accounting designation
Proven ability to be self-driven, capable of adapting to change and simultaneously managing multiple tasks/ projects/ assignments
Ability to work with and manage confidential information and use independent judgment
Proven ability to work using Power BI, Tableau, etc.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Knowledge in preparing PowerPoint presentations for senior management
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in corporate, manufacturing and/or supply chain logistics environment would be considered an asset
Experience working with WMS OR TMS software
Full-time employment with a salary range of $80 000-100,000 per year depending on skills and experience
In-office environment, with the potential for a hybrid position after probationary period
