Senior Engineer Electrical&Controls Water, Burnaby

Make a difference with AECOM as a Senior Electrical Instrumentation&Controls Engineer in Burnaby, BC, focusing on hybrid collaboration within our Water group. Your design insights will enhance municipal water management.

In this full-time role, you will take charge of electrical design and analysis for projects spanning Western Canada. This includes leading the design of electrical distribution and low-voltage systems while performing essential technical calculations and analyses. Partner with a multidisciplinary team to ensure project compliance and efficacy, from initial design to construction oversight.

Key Responsibilities:• Lead electrical design and development for municipal projects • Conduct detailed analyses for electrical systems and compliance • Deliver comprehensive electrical engineering documentation • Manage project leadership on small to mid-sized initiatives • Oversee project delivery, including cost and scheduling

Requirements:• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; 6+ years’ relevant experience • Professional registration as an engineer preferred • Expertise in electrical distribution systems and instrumentation • Proficient in design software, particularly AutoCAD • Strong communication and teamwork skills in dynamic settings
