Lead the Fabrication department at a custom signage company in Burnaby, BC, ensuring efficient departmental activities and staff productivity. Oversee planning schedules and maintain project timelines for successful production delivery.
As a Production Supervisor, you will direct and coordinate fabrication activities to maximize efficiencies. Your role includes training and evaluating staff, ensuring cross-training for seamless operations, and adhering to company policies. You'll also maintain budget controls and ensure up-to-date procedures while reviewing work orders from the sales department.
Key Responsibilities:• Direct and schedule departmental activities efficiently • Execute Planning Schedule to ensure on-time delivery • Train and evaluate staff to meet performance standards • Maintain tracking of production to meet project priorities • Ensure finished products are properly packaged and handed off
Requirements:• Experience with interpreting technical drawings • Strong computer skills including Word and Excel • Knowledge of CAD and ERP/MRP graphics software • Minimum one year in a supervisory role in relevant industries • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
