Assist with maintenance work orders as received for various responsibilities throughout the site. Maintain a clean working environment. Arrange furniture and operate equipment for special events or office moves. Assisting with set up and tear down of Pilot Plants. Assist skilled tradesman (Electrician, Mechanician, Technician, etc.)Participate in meetings and training to gather information and skills to perform certain functions. Respond to emergency situations during and after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns. Transport tools, supplies, and equipment. Set up with functions around the site, large meetings and social functions.Prepare written materials (e.g., activity logs, truck logbooks, and inspections). Perform preventative maintenance duties on various equipment e.g. (dust collectors, rooftop fans/units,scrubbers, neutralization tank, onsite vehicles, ventilation hoods, etc.) Must use good judgment to identify and resolve problems on the job. When in difficulty refer problems to supervisor for resolution.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsible for Snow removaland Grounds Keeping. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment Qualifications
A minimum of a high school diploma A post-secondary education (two-year diploma/degree ) in a Science related program (Electrical, Mechanical Engineering Technology, etc.) is a benefit. 2-years previous experience in a related field would be a strong asset. Specific technical skills: Forklift license or previous 2-years’ experience.Experience troubleshooting operational concerns and equipment failures. Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner. Candidates must be proficient in using various types of computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.). Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work well with others&independently. Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail. Experience in, or willingness to learn, handling of mobile equipment such as forklift, scissor lift and skid steer. Works well under pressure. Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time. Ensures full compliance with the company’s Health&Safety, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct policies. Additional Information
