What We’re Looking For As an Account Manager in our Commercial Division, you will work closely with a team of Producers and Marketers on our Commercial Accounts. We are seeking an individual with superior attention to detail to join our Burnaby Still Creek head office location in a full‑time position.

Our Burnaby Still Creek head office location is centrally located in the Willingdon Business Park near Brentwood Town Centre. This location is easily accessible by the Gilmore sky train station with many shops, restaurants and other amenities nearby.

Responsibilities

Deliver the highest level of client service and care by servicing your assigned book of small business

Work quickly and effectively at a rapid pace to service this dynamic book of business

Build positive relationships by working with colleagues on client renewals and new business opportunities

Work to meet and exceed budgets; prospect new business working with other HUB divisions

Identify coverage gaps and offer coverage solution

Manage and collect accounts receivables

Focus on continued professional development to enhance your skills and abilities

Skills, Characteristics&Qualifications

Level 2 General Insurance License

3+ years of Insurance sales experience

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Works well in a fast paced, client‑focused environment

Strong sense of urgency

Exceptional communication skills written and verbal

A people person, you work to provide superior client service while working collaboratively with the team

Asset Experience That Will Make You Stand Out

Recognized industry certification preferred (CAIB, CIP, CRM, BCIT Risk Management)

Benefits The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 to $95,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid‑time‑off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
