Chief Engineer

with a valid Ref A License to oversee and manage all plant engineering and maintenance operations near

Burlington, ON . Pay– $50/hr Shift – Day Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all maintenance and engineering activities within the facility Ensure optimal performance of refrigeration, boilers, and production equipment Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system issuesEnsure compliance with Ontario safety regulations, TSSA standards, and company policies Manage, mentor, and schedule maintenance team members Coordinate with production and operations teams to minimize downtime Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and compliance records Oversee inventory, spare parts, and maintenance budgetingRequirements

Valid Ref A License (Ontario) mandatory Minimum 3 5 years of experience as a Chief Engineer Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, boilers, and plant utilities Experience working in manufacturing, food processing, or industrial settings Proven leadership and team management skills Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
