Our client is a global manufacturing organization.
Position Scope The Accounting Administrator will support the Accounting and HR Manager in delivering accurate financial reporting and day-to-day administrative support across both accounting and human resources functions. This role will play a key part in maintaining financial records, supporting payroll processes, and ensuring HR operations run efficiently. The successful candidate will balance both accounting and HR-related responsibilities, contributing to overall operational effectiveness, compliance, and accuracy across the business.
Responsibilities
Provide support with daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable as required
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and identifying any discrepancies
Process payroll and support the administration of employee records, job descriptions, and benefits programs
Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee wages and payroll-related transactions
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including audit preparation
Support the preparation of financial reports and related documentation
Review and analyze financial information to identify and resolve inconsistencies or issues
Required Skills and Knowledge
Proficiency with accounting systems and financial software
Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and standard practices
Experience with account reconciliation processes
Working knowledge of payroll processing and administration
High attention to detail with strong accuracy in data entry and reporting
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Education and Experience
Postsecondary diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
Prior experience in an accounting, finance, or similar administrative role required
