Equiton is seeking a charismatic, engaging, and confident on‑camera content creator to become the face and voice of our brand across social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Facebook and other emerging channels. This role will play a key part in growing Equiton’s digital presence, increasing brand awareness, expanding social followership, and helping drive audience engagement and client acquisition through compelling, modern content.Acting as a public‑facing brand ambassador, this individual will create engaging video content that brings Equiton’s funds, properties, projects, communities, and brand story to life in a relatable and visually compelling way. From property walkthroughs and behind‑the‑scenes content to trend‑driven videos,interviews, lifestyle content, and educational storytelling, this role will help position Equiton as a recognizable and trusted brand.The ideal candidate understands how to create content that captures attention, builds audience connection, and drives engagement across platforms. They are confident on camera, naturally personable, highly tuned into social media trends, and passionate about creating content that people genuinely want to watch, share, and follow.This is not a traditional behind‑the‑scenes social media role, it is an opportunity to help shape the public‑facing identity of one of Canada’s fastest‑growing real estate investment firms while building meaningful audience growth and digital brand impact. Responsibilities
Serve as the on‑camera face and voice of the Equiton brand across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging social platforms. Create engaging video content that supports brand awareness, follower growth, audience engagement, and client acquisition initiatives. Develop compelling content including property walkthroughs, lifestyle content, behind‑the‑scenes footage, trend‑based videos, interviews, and educational storytelling.Bring creativity, confidence, authenticity, and personality to all on‑camera content while ensuring alignment with Equiton’s brand and reputation. Identify social media trends and content opportunities that help increase visibility and grow Equiton’s digital presence. Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to execute content strategies and campaigns.Manage content calendars and support ongoing community engagement across platforms. Monitor content performance, follower growth, engagement metrics, and audience insights to continuously optimize strategy. Participate in on‑site filming across Equiton properties, projects, and events Qualifications
Proven experience managing direct‑to‑consumer social media platforms and creating high‑performing digital content within the financial services and/or real estate industry. Strong personal presence, confidence, and communication skills on camera. Deep understanding of what performs well on all social media platforms.Experience growing brand social channels. Ability to create content that feels authentic, engaging, and visually polished. Demonstrated experience in using tools/AI to create content including scripting, editing, etc. Hands‑on experience filming high‑quality short‑form video content in a variety of environments, including on‑site, lifestyle, interview, and behind‑the‑scenes settings.Strong storytelling instincts and creative ideation skills. Comfortable working in fast‑paced, highly collaborative environments. Passion for social media trends, digital culture, branding, and audience engagement. Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, with ability to travel within Ontario for filming and content creation.The expected annualized base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 plus discretionary bonuses. The actual base salary offered will take into consideration factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, and relevant education or training.
